Tournaments
Padel Tournaments in Calgary are over for the 2011 season.
The Padel Association of Canada ran the Canadian Padel Championships from September 9th-11th. Please visit the Padel Canada website for more information and results.
August Tournament Results
The Hot August Tour Padel Tournament lived up to it's name this past weekend. Sunny skies and hot temperatures made for ideal conditions for the latest Alberta Padel Association padel tournament.
Playing on the refurbished east court, Adrian Ballesteros and Kevin Doucet bested Patti MacPhee and Barry McDonald in the tournament final. Team Fakirani (Adil and Sam) won the third place playoff over Larry Allen and Dai Jones. Denise Hartley and Beth Noble were the consolation winners, and the team of Flo Reynolds and Jan Trott won the Consolation Plate.
Thanks to all the teams that played and to Larry Allen for being the drawmaster.

June Tournament Results
We would like to thank the 10 padel teams that took part in the "2011 Summer Solstice Padel Tournament" this past weekend.
The weather held and we were able to get the tournament started on Friday nite and completed Saturday afternoon. The wind made it challenging for all.
Congratulations to Anna and John Pentland for finishing first in the A/B draw. The team of Mark Hartley and Ted Wilson finished a strong second, with Dai Jones and Barry McDonald grabbing third place.
In the C draw Jerry Thompson and Armin Heirati finished first with the team of Dot Townsend and various partners finishing second.
